The Los Angeles Chargers are getting their star rookie back.
Running back Omarion Hampton is expected to play on Monday night vs. the Philadelphia Eagles, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported on Saturday.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz first reported the news.
Hampton sustained an ankle fracture on Oct. 5 against the Washington Commanders. The 22-year-old rushed for two touchdowns and 314 yards in five games, averaging 4.8 yards per carry before the injury.
Hampton was drafted 22nd overall out of the University of North Carolina, and was the second running back taken in the 2025 draft after Ashton Jeanty.
The Chargers (8-4) will look to stay alive in the race for the AFC West division when they play the Eagles (8-4) on Monday night.
